Die Kuche in Bad Homburg

We ordered a goose plus sauce there for Christmas Eve a week before Christmas. The lady on the phone was very friendly and so was the cook at the handover. You got a piece of paper that said exactly how to heat the goose. And it tasted great! The goose was for 5 people. There were 4 of us and the portion was more than adequate. We would order there again and again. Price / performance ratio was more than terrific!

In the current lockdown, "Die Küche" is offering goose to pick up. Order 48 hours in advance and choose the light version (goose with sauce) or complete with dumplings, chestnuts and red cabbage. We had (5 people) the goose light. Super tasty, crispy skin, tender meat, very good sauce. Highly Recommended. It is best to bring a roasting pan and container for sauce.

We have been going to this restaurant (also at its previous location) for many years. The kitchen has remained consistently good and this time it was very tasty. The service is also very friendly and brisk. The prices are good for Frankfurt and the surrounding area. Conclusion: highly recommended

We came across this restaurant when searching on Google Maps and were not disappointed. Very quaint and cozy. If you like to eat everything from potatoes, you have to stop here. We had the potato pancake with salmon, spinach, horseradish and parmesan. Delicious! 😋

Delicious, German food (you can still see the good menu of the old "real" potato cuisine), always a friendly service and good prices. We go to "The Kitchen" very often and we have never been disappointed!

We just happened upon this little gem last weekend and were so happy that we did. The food was flavorful, piping hot and hearty, and the servers were lovely--so friendly and warm that it felt more like having lunch at a friend's house than a restaurant.

Great back balcony, good German food

Great prices for down to earth food. The dishes are well considered and manageable, but very delicious. The prices are more than fair. Seating is limited but usually adequate. The decoration is almost beautiful in the museum, for my taste but a little too cheesy.

Really lovely local restaurant. They don't only sell potato dishes. 😉 Awesome atmosphere. Kids also enjoyed it. They have a kids menu and an English menu as well. And of course some great beer! A must visit!

Very good (German) food, not everything is potato based as the name might suggest. (Kartoffelküche = potato kitchen). For German standards the service was pretty friendly. Great also with kids.
